Josie is lovely!! I booked her for my maternity photo shoot and newborn photography at the same time, knowing that my family and I would be in good hands with her. She not only came highly recommended, but her photos speak for themselves. She is great at capturing subtle moments, soft expressions, light and colour, and individual personalities. Throughout both shoots, I found her to be very easy to get along with, thus making it easier to relax for the photos. She brought all sorts of goodies to use as props, dressings, and backdrops, and was accommodating when I had specific ideas for photos.
I never thought I'd look so darned majestic during my maternity shoot!
I want to speak specifically about the newborn photoshoot, as Josie was especially incredible that day. She was not only patient and spent several hours with us in order to get the photos we wanted, but she was helpful with tips on breastfeeding and baby soothing techniques, which was much appreciated considering that I'm a new mom. Whenever baby got fussy during photos, Josie was happy to stop and wait for me to feed the baby until the little one was ready again. The entire morning was relaxed and enjoyable, with lots of great conversation, as well as laughs over my little naked newborn peeing and pooping on all of us throughout the photoshoot.
Josie processed and edited the photos from both photo shoots quickly, and the results were so wonderful, I was overwhelmed upon seeing them for the first time. I'm very happy with my photos, and felt it was important to order prints through Josie, as she uses a professional photo printer with excellent quality, prices, and options. It's so worth it to get the photos printed, and how could you not? They're too gorgeous to only share them on Facebook, they need to be enlarged, printed, and hung up on the wall for all to see!
I would love to have Josie photograph our important moments in the future and highly recommend her! Thank you, Josie, for immortalizing my pregnancy and my baby's early days!
